ESG Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Offer technical and business insight to facilitate IS solutions.

• Gather and convert requirements for both internal and external delivery teams.

• Oversee ESG reporting across Automation divisions, Corporate Sustainability, and technical departments.

• Evaluate ESG processes, data flows, and interdependencies.

• Convert sustainability reporting needs into functional and data requirements.

• Detect data gaps, process challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Generate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in the design, testing, and validation of ESG reporting solutions.

• Serve as Product Owner for AU Sustainability reporting.

• Prioritize and manage the backlog while aligning solutions with business goals.

• Ensure that delivered solutions align with business, compliance, data, and usability standards.

• Represent business stakeholders and advocate for solution adoption.

• Facilitate the effective utilization of ESG data and analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Sustainability, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, product ownership, or roles related to sustainability.

• Proficient in converting business, data, and reporting needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Solid understanding of ESG or sustainability reporting processes, data flows, and governance expectations.

• Experience with BI, reporting, or data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL-based reporting, or equivalent solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to coordinate among business, sustainability, and technical teams.

• Familiarity with corporate sustainability reporting standards, ESG data models, or reporting frameworks.

• Background in enterprise data platforms, cloud data solutions, or CCDP-related delivery models.

• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, backlog management, solution validation, and user acceptance testing.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or global matrix organizations.
