Escalator Engineer – Days

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of escalators and moving walkways in major rail and underground locations.

• Service, maintain, and repair KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Execute maintenance, repairs, and callouts for escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.

• Conduct fault-finding on both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Uphold high standards in service delivery, safety, and customer care.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Keep site log cards updated during each visit.

• Operate throughout Greater London, including Gatwick Airport station and Stansted Airport station.

• Function within high-profile, safety-critical transport infrastructure settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated experience with escalators and moving walkways.

• Strong fault-finding capabilities in mechanical and electrical systems.

• A valid UK driving licence is mandatory.

• Applicants must possess the appropriate right to work.

• Sponsorship is not provided.

• Willingness to work from 7:00 to 19:00 on a 4-on, 4-off shift schedule.

• Capability to work in high-profile, safety-critical transport infrastructure environments.

• Relevant experience working within the M25 is preferred.
