ERP Technical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, tailor, and sustain our NetSuite OneWorld environment to meet the unique requirements of our organization.

• Create and manage SuiteScript 2.x across all script types (Suitelet, RESTlet, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client) to enhance ERP processes for improved speed, accuracy, and functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges within NetSuite and its integrations to reduce downtime and ensure seamless business operations.

• Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for scripts, configurations, customizations, and system workflows.

• Implement customizations and projects through SDF and GitHub repositories, adhering to our sandbox-to-production release methodology.

• Comprehend and operate within the fundamental NetSuite order processes, including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.

• Engage in team release cycles, encompassing pre-release reviews, deployment, and post-release validation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Over 2 years of experience in NetSuite/ERP development, systems engineering, or a comparable technical position.

• Demonstrated experience as a NetSuite Developer, ERP Developer, or in a similar technical role, with a strong emphasis on NetSuite.

• Strong hands-on expertise with SuiteScript 2.x, proficient in writing all script types.

• Thorough understanding of core NetSuite order processes: Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.

• Experience in creating saved searches, workflows, and custom records for cross-functional reporting.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

• Capability to manage multiple tickets/projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or OCI is preferred.

• Experience with GitHub, Postman, Slack, Jira/Confluence is preferred.

• Knowledge of custom or third-party tax engines is preferred.

• Experience with SuiteCommerce is preferred.
