This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conduct analysis of business scenarios, customer challenges, and product requirements through discussions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Create designs for features and enhancements, which include functional specifications, workflows, process flows, mockups or wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
• Assess the impact and backward compatibility of product modifications.
• Negotiate requirements with stakeholders and break down approved changes into technical user stories and development tasks.
• Coordinate implementation specifics with developers and oversee scope modifications.
• Analyze and support distribution processes across sales, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, pricing, freight, tax, and related financial activities.
• Document data flows and integration needs with external dispatch, delivery, inventory, tank monitoring, CRM, and other industry systems.
• Generate mapping or API specifications when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with developers, QA teams, automated testing engineers, technical writers, support staff, implementation teams, and external partners.
• Create test plans and scenarios; carry out acceptance testing and verify rectified defects.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing, ensure release and deployment readiness, conduct customer demonstrations, facilitate user training, and troubleshoot post-go-live issues.
• Maintain documentation related to products, processes, and support.
• Handle support requests, aid in root-cause analysis, and pinpoint opportunities for continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.
• Over 3 years of experience in business or system analysis, ERP functional consulting, or product analysis.
• More than 3 years of experience in one or more distribution areas: Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing, Inventory Management, or E-commerce.
• Proven experience in developing functional specifications and workflow diagrams.
• Direct experience collaborating with developers and business users.
• Familiarity with manual acceptance testing and the creation of test scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and concentrate on measurable outcomes in a dynamic, cross-functional, remote setting.
• Quality-focused mentality, inquisitiveness, and the capacity to quickly grasp new business and technical concepts.
• Willingness to primarily work in Eastern Time, with occasional flexibility depending on project requirements.
