This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define, oversee, and implement the product roadmap for the University’s electronic Research Administration systems.

• Act as the main point of contact between Notre Dame Research Administration and Compliance, Campus IT, along with third-party software vendors.

• Spearhead system governance and integration strategies for research administration platforms.

• Manage research data governance practices to establish uniform standards and enhance data quality.

• Configure and sustain system validations and workflows to adapt to changing federal regulations and sponsor requirements.

• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement and reporting capabilities.

• Create and maintain system documentation, business processes, and training resources.

• Lead “train-the-trainer” initiatives and assist in change management efforts within the research community.

• Track system performance, user feedback, and emerging industry trends.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Research Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in research administration, enterprise systems management, or a comparable field.

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, such as Product Owner, Product Manager, or a similar strategic systems position.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level software implementations, ideally within research administration, ERP, or higher education contexts.

• In-depth knowledge of the research grant lifecycle, encompassing pre-award, post-award, and compliance functions.

• Strong comprehension of enterprise systems architecture, integrations, and data governance principles.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct supervisory control.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to harmonize strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities with a keen eye for detail and compliance requirements.
