This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver repair services for equipment in practitioners' offices under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.
• Provide fundamental installation services as required.
• Maintain and utilize necessary tools for installation and repair tasks.
• Execute on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities under supervision.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and identify solutions.
• Understand customer needs and offer recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Manage and oversee inventory levels in the service vehicle.
• Generate timely and comprehensive service reports.
• Participate in Henry Schein Dental Career Development and manufacturer technical training.
• Update team members and HUB dispatchers on assignment progress.
• Complete and finalize work orders daily and submit them for billing.
• Review work orders with customers or designated staff before leaving.
• Submit FDA forms, expense reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Adhere to Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management policies.
• Engage in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
• Generally, 2 or more years of field service experience demonstrating proficiency.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Background in customer service.
• Fundamental troubleshooting abilities.
• Independent self-starter.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Attention to accuracy and detail.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Capability to maneuver large equipment.
• Ability to perform significant and/or repetitive bending, stopping, lifting, and climbing of ladders.
• Typically requires a High School diploma, vocational training and/or on-the-job training; an Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.

• Ability to maintain and use personal protective equipment when necessary.
