Equipment Service Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver equipment support to designated customers

• Provide immediate and critical on-site assistance during equipment failures to meet targeted Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)

• Organize and perform regular preventive maintenance activities

• Execute equipment retrofits and enhancements to achieve targeted Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and ensure machine availability

• Collaborate with product management teams, regional teams, and technical centers to implement auxiliary equipment strategies and enhance chemistry performance at customer locations

• Educate customer personnel on regular maintenance schedules and troubleshooting techniques

• Develop and sustain relationships with key regional clients and partners

• Address customer inquiries, resolve problems, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

• Conduct routine customer visits and meetings to comprehend their needs and offer customized solutions

• Willingness to travel up to 50%

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems

• Electronics Engineering diploma holders with significant relevant experience may be considered

• Familiarity with the latest equipment control processes

• 2–5 years of pertinent experience in equipment support

• Prior experience in supporting equipment within the electroplating or surface finishing sector is preferred

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• Capability to analyze data, compile reports, and present insights

• Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite

• Willingness to travel up to 50%
