This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.
• Accountable for promoting a variety of equipment finance lending and leasing products to medium and large commercial clients within a designated territory.
• Driven by results and capable of working autonomously to identify potential clients in their territory while maintaining a consistent calling strategy.
• Understands and integrates AUEF’s target market criteria (credit profile, pricing, and structuring) into their approach.
• Possesses a strong grasp of the sales process and credit analysis, excelling at lead generation and deal closure.
• Collaborates closely with internal partners to foster the development of new business relationships while cultivating prospects.
• Tasked with retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Develops and sustains high-quality relationships, focusing on companies with revenues exceeding $50 million, while coordinating with RMs and TMOs to secure deposits and cross-sell other Bank products and services.
• Prepares correspondence, proposals, commitment letters, credit submissions, and documentation requests as necessary.
• Enhances knowledge of equipment finance and other commercial banking products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures that the administration and risk management of each client relationship comply with established credit policies, procedures, business strategies, and relevant commercial and regulatory guidelines.
• Implements a call program to cultivate new and existing customer relationships, identifying potential customers and developing prospect lists.
• Maintains a pipeline of current relationships and new prospects.
• Aids in mentoring teammates in areas such as prospecting/calling, credit analysis, financial spreading, and underwriting.
• Guarantees that all work adheres to applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in finance, banking, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in equipment finance sales.
• Familiarity with SuperTrump, TValue, Infoanalysis, and Customer Relationship Management systems.
• Strong credit and analytical abilities.
• Capability to independently manage a specialty lending line (equipment finance) and complex lending structures.
• Excellent professional writing skills, able to clearly and accurately articulate a customer’s business needs.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills along with excellent collaboration and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of equipment finance lending and leasing products.
• Ability to make informed loan decisions based on customer-provided information verified through a thorough underwriting process, with strong skills in structuring loans and credit assessment.
• Proven success in sales and new business development, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to thrive in a sales-driven environment.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without supervision.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory compliance related to commercial lending.
• Proficient computer skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
