EPM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist technical leaders during the requirements gathering and design stages, taking notes during client interviews and meetings, while formulating relevant questions to grasp client business specifics.

• Configure and implement Anaplan solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and timely, budget-conscious delivery.

• Participate in the configuration of EPM software and support system testing activities.

• Confidently resolve and articulate technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, while providing assistance with production support as needed.

• Engage in configuration reviews to offer constructive feedback and remain receptive to feedback from project teams and leadership.

• Maintain a client-centric approach and demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Demonstrate an understanding of the rationale behind business requirements.

• Recognize your role within the project and team, and effectively meet project priorities, scope, timelines, goals, and key milestones.

• Create and sustain documentation for EPM solutions, including user manuals, technical specifications, and training resources.

• Aid in the creation and delivery of training programs for end-users.

• Present demonstrations to a variety of audiences, ranging from executives to business users.

• Stay informed about Anaplan platform updates and features, as well as best practices in the industry, while pursuing or maintaining necessary certifications.

• Foster effective working relationships with team members, understanding appropriate engagement with clients.

• Exhibit and continually enhance strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Provide ongoing client support, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective utilization of EPM systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a background in business, finance, multidimensional modeling, data analytics, business intelligence, or consulting.

• You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are adept at working with complex datasets.

• You bring hands-on experience with Anaplan, including the design, implementation, and optimization of Anaplan models, along with relevant Anaplan certifications.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering, or a related area, or have equivalent professional experience.

• You are fluent in English.

• Desired qualifications include experience in implementing Performance Management solutions using technologies such as IBM TM1/Planning Analytics (PA), Oracle Hyperion, SAP SAC, Tagetik, Board, Pigment, or OneStream. Previous experience supporting business functions such as Finance, Sales, or Operations. Knowledge of data integration tools like Informatica, SnapLogic, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS PartiQL, or SAS. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
