This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, execution, and reporting of epidemiologic and real-world evidence studies.

• Create scientific content for study protocols, reports, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

• Perform literature reviews and evidence assessments to guide study design and interpretation.

• Aid in the selection of suitable study designs, data sources, and analytical methods.

• Evaluate epidemiology-related outputs for scientific validity and quality.

• Collaborate with biostatisticians, medical writers, data scientists, and other members of cross-functional teams.

• Convey epidemiologic concepts and study results to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Participate in scientific discussions regarding study methodology, real-world data, and evidence generation.

• Support innovative strategies in epidemiologic and observational research.

• Assist with background research and epidemiology sections of proposals and client opportunities.

• Aid in responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information.

• Contribute to publications, conference presentations, and posters.

• Help enhance Parexel's scientific reputation in the fields of epidemiology, real-world evidence, and data-driven research.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced or master’s degree (MD/MPH, PhD, DrPH) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, health outcomes research, or a related field.

• 2–3+ years of experience in conducting independent research and communicating scientific findings in academic, CRO, biopharmaceutical, or medical-device industry environments.

• Strong grasp of pharmacoepidemiologic principles, including confounding, bias, and operational definitions.

• Familiarity with cohort and cross-sectional study designs.

• Understanding of statistical models.

• Experience in observational/non-interventional research.

• Knowledge of primary and secondary data collection methods, including registries and claims.

• Awareness of pharmacovigilance and the drug development process is an advantage.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, international, and cross-cultural work environment.

• Proficient in English.
