Epic Systems Analyst – Link, Care Everywhere, Compass Rose

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• The Systems Analyst Epic plays a crucial role in the design, construction, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support of Epic applications, aimed at enhancing clinical and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and refine requirements, analyze current-state workflows, and create Epic builds that align with operational objectives and policies.

• Develop and maintain specifications, decision logs, and design documents to ensure clear traceability and effective change control.

• Perform gap analyses to pinpoint necessary configuration or workflow modifications for upgrades, regulatory changes, or new initiatives.

• Assist in small projects and enhancements related to system implementations and upgrades under the mentorship of senior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

• At least 1-3 years of experience in system/application analysis, support, or a related IT role (experience in a healthcare environment is preferred).

• Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in system/application analysis, support, or related IT roles (healthcare environment experience preferred).

• Familiarity with Epic application(s) and healthcare workflows, including clinical, revenue cycle, or IT experience.

• Proven skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.

• Knowledge of ITIL, change control, SDLC practices, system governance, and both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
