Epic Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Serves as a comprehensive subject matter expert for the Epic functionality of the service line and integrated third-party applications.

• Recognizes best practices for the organization and collaborates closely with stakeholders to outline the technical systems and enhancements needed to achieve business outcomes.

• Conducts investigations into potential solutions and provides recommendations based on the results.

• Develops thorough analyses for proposals that detail feasibility, scalability, and associated costs.

• Proposes, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates effective solutions.

• Contributes to service line research to identify business needs and translates them into the technical enhancements required for configuration and business process modifications.

• Codes intricate functions, including the creation of application tables and reports for multiple Epic applications, and conducts testing to ensure high-quality delivery to business partners.

• Implements and stabilizes core business applications by investigating application infrastructure requirements, relevant hardware, endpoints, and databases.

• Proactively identifies and addresses complex problems, employing innovative and groundbreaking methods to extend beyond existing solutions that influence business direction and enhance performance.

• Researches and advocates for best practices concerning scalability, supportability, maintenance ease, and system performance.

• Analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes technical requirement specifications utilizing data, diagrams, and flowcharts to guide decision-making.

• Leads functional teams or projects in a project management capacity, managing moderate resource demands, risks, and/or complexities.

• Plans and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, system goals, and requirements.

• Troubleshoots and resolves intricate integrated issues across applications, working with vendors to address challenges.

• Performs additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience with Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts/functions.

• Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules.
