This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Serves as an extensive subject matter expert for Epic functionalities within the service line as well as integrated third-party applications.
• Identifies optimal practices for the business and collaborates closely with stakeholders to outline the technical systems and enhancements required to achieve business outcomes.
• Conducts research on potential solutions and provides recommendations based on the findings.
• Develops comprehensive analyses for proposals that detail feasibility, scalability, and costs.
• Proposes, designs, tests, implements, and assesses solutions.
• Contributes to research for service line business requirements and translates these into the necessary technical enhancements for configuration and business process modifications.
• Creates proposals that outline feasibility and associated costs.
• Codes intricate functions, including the development of application tables and reports for various Epic applications.
• Tests builds to ensure quality delivery to business partners.
• Implements and stabilizes core business applications, investigating application infrastructure needs, along with related hardware, endpoints, and databases.
• Proactively identifies and resolves complex issues; employs innovative and groundbreaking methods to explore solutions that influence business direction and enhance performance.
• Researches and advocates for best practices regarding scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
• Analyzes, prioritizes, and organizes technical requirement specifications utilizing data, diagrams, and flowcharts to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Leads functional teams or projects in a project management capacity, managing moderate resource requirements, risks, and/or complexities.
• Plans and coordinates with both internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system objectives, and requirements.
• Troubleshoots and resolves intricate integrated issues across applications and collaborates with vendors to address these challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience with Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts/functions.
• Required experience in Epic builds.
• Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules.
