Epic Caboodle Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold database components such as tables, stored procedures, functions, and views.

• Create intricate SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data integration purposes.

• Deliver file extracts securely and automatically through SFTP.

• Develop tailored reporting solutions within Epic Hyperspace, encompassing Reporting Workbench and Cogito SQL reports.

• Create Radar dashboards and related Cogito build elements.

• Manage the entire reporting lifecycle from design and development to testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Facilitate working sessions with OCHIN members, third-party vendors, and staff to devise technical solutions.

• Assist in project requirements gathering, solution design, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one or two current certifications necessary: Caboodle Data Model, Caboodle Development for Clarity Data, or Caboodle Development for Non-Epic Data.

• Minimum of five years of experience in a comparable or relevant position.

• Prior experience in Healthcare IT is required.

• Three to five years of experience in Information Technology or a related discipline is necessary.

• Three to five years of expertise in complex SQL development is required.

• Three to five years of experience in custom Caboodle development is necessary.

• Database administration experience is preferred.

• Experience in a larger healthcare environment is preferred.

• Strong communication skills with application teams, technical team members, and end users are essential.

• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.

• Capability to work independently and efficiently from a home office.

• Access to high-speed internet service.
