Epic Beaker Consultant – AP/CP Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of Epic Beaker AP/CP tickets, which includes troubleshooting, conducting root-cause analysis, and ensuring timely resolutions.

• Respond to end-user inquiries, resolve build-related challenges, and deliver high-level operational support.

• Achieve or surpass the established weekly ticket resolution targets to uphold system functionality and user satisfaction.

• Maintain and enhance existing Epic Beaker build structures.

• Leverage opportunities to support Test Builds, validation, and implementation processes.

• Oversee and improve Beaker Workqueues, Outreach modules, and device/instrumentation interfaces.

• Evaluate current ticket trends to pinpoint systemic issues and foster continuous process enhancements.

• Create, update, and preserve detailed technical and end-user documentation to facilitate future support.

• Assist in preparing the Beaker environment for forthcoming organizational projects and upgrades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Epic Beaker Certification (AP and/or CP) with extensive experience in build and maintenance.

• Multiple years of practical experience supporting Epic Beaker in an active hospital or laboratory setting.

• Demonstrated success with Beaker Workqueues, Outreach, and Instrument integration/interfaces.

• Strong analytical abilities with an emphasis on workflow optimization and process enhancement.

• Capability to work independently and efficiently in a fully remote setting.

• Preferred:

• Experience in creating and executing thorough test scripts for Beaker builds.

• Exceptional communication skills for documenting technical processes and engaging with laboratory stakeholders.
