Epic Beaker Analyst – CP, AP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Delivers operational and laboratory information system (LIS)/application support, including the development and maintenance of Epic Beaker, Epic orders, and Data Innovations Instrument Manager middleware.

• Executes tasks to fulfill customer objectives and expectations.

• Engages in the support, maintenance, development, testing, and enhancements of Epic Beaker, Data Innovations middleware, and related interfaces.

• Holds operational expertise in clinical laboratory functions.

• Analyzes requests and independently completes assignments/projects under the guidance of senior analysts and the Team Lead.

• Translates requirements and concepts into system specifications and configuration needs.

• Offers training to team members as necessary based on documentation for testing and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in testing, building, or implementing Epic Beaker workflows.

• Strong preference for experience with Data Innovations Instrument Manager build/support, implementation of laboratory applications, and lab-specific upgrade tasks.

• Knowledge and experience in clinical laboratory operations workflow, Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, Point of Care, and Blood Gas are highly preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effectively resolves issues and provides actionable recommendations.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.

• Epic Beaker Certification is required (with a preference for AP and CP certifications).
