This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Supervise and manage a high-volume shared finance inbox, ensuring customer inquiries are addressed or directed to the appropriate team.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and investigate any payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and send out monthly customer statements.
• Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders and investigate any issues related to pricing, freight, or quantities.
• Batch supplier payments for approval and processing.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers through professional communication.
• Utilize Xero and Simpro for transaction reconciliation and to support daily finance operations.
• Assist with portal-based invoicing for government, strata, and commercial clients.
• Learn and apply finance automation tools to enhance efficiency as they are introduced.
• Escalate unusual transactions, risks, or discrepancies using sound judgment.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the finance function.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, with substantial hands-on experience supporting Australian practices is essential.
• Strong proficiency in Xero.
• Experience in performing bank reconciliations, invoice matching, and payment processing.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in customer service and relationship management.
• Ability to manage a busy shared finance inbox and prioritize competing tasks effectively.
