This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Facilitates the development of the Epic vision, solution design, standards guidance, project scoping, and the integration and implementation of efficient, high-quality technology and application systems.
• Assesses technology, systems, and application capabilities, analyzes workflow and data flow, and formulates efficient and logical solutions. Plans, schedules, reviews, and conducts analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of Epic and related application systems. Engages in solution testing and documents clear and concise system descriptions that align with project requirements and departmental quality standards.
• Employs organizational project management methodologies, processes, and systems to guarantee effective and efficient project development and completion. Evaluates programming requests and provides timelines for completion.
• Collaborates with FMOLHS Information Services, leaders, team members, and end users to create efficient, cost-effective technology and application system specifications that enhance organizational performance.
• Ensures the security, integrity, and privacy of FMOLHS data in accordance with FMOLHS policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements data-driven performance improvement methodologies. Maintains accurate records to evaluate organizational performance. Identifies opportunities for enhancing current services and consults with management on related issues and challenges.
• Aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of personal performance by staying updated on the latest trends in the field through participation in job-relevant seminars and workshops, attending professional conferences, and engaging with national and state professional organizations.
• Applies IS project management methodologies and best practices to boost individual and organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes.
• Education - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of experience as a licensed healthcare clinical professional, business operations, or information systems.
• Special Skills - Working Conditions: Occasional pressure from multiple calls and inquiries, subject to frequent interruptions, and occasional travel. Physical Requirements: Frequent use of hands and fingers, good visual and hearing acuity, and predominantly sedentary work. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and human relations skills, effective oral and written communication abilities, and proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Licensure - Must attend and achieve relevant Epic education course certification within ninety days of training implementation.
