Epic Analyst – Professional Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• The Epic Resolute Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting Epic Resolute Professional Billing systems.

• Engages directly with operations and the clinical applications team to assess and define application requirements and workflows while providing system recommendations.

• Aids in troubleshooting, testing, and documenting billing systems.

• Creates and maintains configuration decisions and workflow documentation.

• Supports data analysis, including conversion, analytics, quality assessments, and root cause evaluations.

• Participates in meetings and takes accountability for action items assigned to them or their team.

• Reviews, assesses, and tests new software and software upgrades.

• Ensures the software operates efficiently on a daily basis and remains in a safe functioning state.

• Delivers exceptional customer service while collaborating with NOMS physicians and team members.

• Remains updated on cutting-edge information technology, communications, and healthcare software applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Epic Professional Billing certification is mandatory.

• Epic Claims certification is a plus.

• Experience with Epic’s reimbursement contract build is required.

• Willingness to pursue additional certifications through Epic if needed.

• A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in information systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with ambulatory physician billing practices is essential.

• Strong understanding of various integration points, including scheduling, imaging, and billing.

• Proficient in performing as a programmer/analyst to tackle problems necessitating critical thinking, coordinating simultaneous efforts, recovering from data loss, accelerating development, and enhancing program efficiencies.

• Capable of being oriented towards end-user support needs across multiple locations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Must possess flexibility, with some evening and weekend hours required.

• This position requires 50% travel to VHP outlying offices, which may involve overnight stays.
