This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure, enhance, and take ownership of the scheduling tools that facilitate patient care transitions.
• Collaborate directly with client teams and Epic IT partners to oversee open tickets, assist with project tasks, and convert operational decisions into functional Epic configurations.
• Engage in a blend of ticket triage, configuration tasks, client meetings, and participation in cross-departmental projects such as Fast Pass settings and Epic Scheduling Improvement initiatives.
• Review and manage open tickets, working alongside the client and Epic IT to test and implement changes into production.
• Set up and sustain Epic scheduling tools, including rules for ticket generation, decision trees, Fast Pass, Ticket Pass, and waitlist automation.
• Assist in the configuration and optimization of provider-driven scheduling workflows for referrals and follow-up orders.
• Manage referral notifications, appointment request reminders, and communication workflows.
• Develop and track reports in Epic to support workflow obligations.
• Participate in operational meetings with client representatives to offer updates on open tickets, ongoing projects, and metrics.
• Contribute to project efforts across Comprehensive Scheduling and Intelligence Hub initiatives, translating decisions into Epic configurations and solutions.
• Provide technical support to schedulers, clinic personnel, and contact center teams as necessary.
• Lead discussions aimed at problem-solving with client managers, highlighting issues and driving towards effective resolutions.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Epic Cadence analyst, possessing in-depth knowledge of scheduling decision trees, core scheduling setup, and appointment configuration.
• Active Epic Cadence certification; this is a mandatory requirement.
• Familiarity with Epic Referrals workflows; formal certification is not required but significant hands-on experience is essential.
• Capability to convert operational needs and client decisions into Epic configurations independently.
• Comfort in leading client-facing meetings with operational managers and clinic stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks across tickets, project work, and ad hoc requests.
• Clear and direct communication style with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset for monitoring performance data, recognizing trends, and proposing configuration enhancements.
• Nice to Have: Epic MyChart certification or equivalent practical experience.
