This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, test, maintain, and enhance Epic Ambulatory applications and associated workflows.

• Assist with ambulatory clinical processes such as provider documentation, results evaluation, order management, patient flow, and operational efficiency.

• Facilitate lab-related processes, including: Reference lab integrations, OTX (Order Transmittal) functionality, result routing and reconciliation, maintenance of base/common names, and support for lab naming conventions and workflows.

• Work collaboratively with laboratory teams, integration teams, clinical operations, IT leadership, and external vendors to enhance workflows and drive operational initiatives.

• Diagnose complex application, workflow, and integration problems while delivering advanced break/fix assistance.

• Engage in workflow design discussions, integrated testing, system validation, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Aid in Epic upgrades, optimization projects, releases, and continuous maintenance activities while adhering to change management best practices.

• Contribute to interoperability projects, including Care Everywhere, interfaces, and cross-system clinical data exchange.

• Create and update documentation encompassing workflows, testing scripts, build documents, and support procedures.

• Provide support during go-live, post-live stabilization, and optimization for ambulatory and ancillary clinical workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• Epic Ambulatory Certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting Epic applications within a healthcare setting.

• In-depth knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows and provider operations.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting application and workflow challenges in a clinical environment.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a comparable experience.
