This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Provides senior-level technical expertise for a specific area within JLL’s Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD) – Environmental & Property Condition (EPC) team.
• Oversees and coordinates the activities of technical staff, including training, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Conducts Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, vapor intrusion studies, and prepares technical reports to meet ASTM, SBA, JLL, and Client standards.
• Reviews intricate Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) leveraging subject matter expertise.
• Conducts site visits and compiles ESA reports for review by peers.
• Supports the Environmental Practice Leader on ongoing projects by coordinating field activities, including inspections, managing budgets and subcontractors, preparing reports, and building and maintaining client relationships for retention.
• Prepares and/or approves proposals and organizes the workload of related production staff.
• Experience in remediation and Brownfields is essential.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, geology, engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
• At least five (5) years of experience conducting Phase I and II ESAs per ASTM E1527 standards.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in client management, account development, and service management.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience with direct report responsibilities.
• A minimum of two (2) years overseeing the financial performance of engineering services.
• Extensive knowledge of scope differences for underwriting, acquisition/disposition, and subject matter expertise.
• Preferred qualifications include a current Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license or registration, CIH, or CEM.
• Preferred certifications include US EPA AHERA and AARST NRPP.
