This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams consisting of professional and technical personnel to successfully execute intricate environmental projects.
• Manage client relationships, project budgets, timelines, and resources independently.
• Monitor and oversee project deliverables.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings.
• Collaborate and coordinate with a variety of clients, as well as federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.
• Document compliance and noncompliance with resource protection protocols.
• Conduct background research and gather data to provide practical recommendations to clients and regulatory bodies.
• Support the preparation and participation in new business presentations.
• Review and endorse formal proposals in response to Requests For Proposals (RFP).
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Environmental Engineering, Archaeology, Architectural History, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or a closely related environmental field.
• Willingness and capacity to travel as required by business needs.
• Independently manage client relationships, budgets, timelines, and project resources.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to interpret contracts and scope of work documents and effectively communicate information to team members.
• Capable of performing work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines, as well as collaborating in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of engaging with all levels of employees, technical and non-technical alike.
• Proficient presentation skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Microsoft Teams.
• Organized, motivated, detailed-oriented, accurate, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to fulfill job responsibilities and effectively communicate with employees and vendors.
• Adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies; maintain knowledge of and comply with all organizational procedures.
