This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Develop scope and fee packages, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Lead the permitting initiatives at federal, state, and local levels, providing technical oversight and reviewing deliverables.
• Analyze regulations to guide project design and identify strategic pathways for permitting.
• Coordinate permit applications and project tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee projects and teams, ensuring effective communication and daily management.
• Deliver presentations to both small and large audiences, including regulators and the public.
• A Bachelor’s degree in planning, biology, ecology, soils, environmental science, environmental policy, natural resource management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in NEPA, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Practical experience with interpreting site plans, topographic maps, aerial imagery, and various mapping resources.
• Demonstrated self-direction and reliability, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Proficient in clearly conveying findings and generating high-quality written materials, including reports, memos, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to a team environment.
