Environmental Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Delivers environmental management assistance to Paper, Containerboard, and Transportation sites.

• Offers regulatory guidance and carries out environmental training and audits.

• Develops and disseminates best practices across all operating locations.

• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.

• Oversees the scheduling and execution of compliance audits.

• Facilitates the completion and legal examination of audit reports.

• Aids in environmental self-assessment and EMS programs.

• Supplies auditing tools for inspections related to hazardous waste and other compliance matters.

• Supports due diligence investigations concerning property transactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Between five to ten years of experience in manufacturing operations.

• Proficiency in safe work practices, environmental compliance, and auditing processes.

• Experienced in interacting with regulatory agencies.
