Environmental Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of environmental reports to determine the environmental status of properties.

• Collaborate with environmental consultants to create scopes of work for environmental investigations and remediation efforts.

• Provide environmental insights to support property transaction decisions.

• Engage with regulatory agencies, legal advisors, and property stakeholders.

• Guide construction teams on compliance with protocols and permit requirements.

• Assist in formulating budget estimates for environmental-related expenditures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience in consulting or corporate environments.

• Conducting environmental due diligence on brownfield sites undergoing remediation or redevelopment.

• Designing and overseeing environmental investigation programs for soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and sediments.

• Knowledge of the requirements for investigating, remediating, monitoring, and reporting on brownfield properties.

• Developing plans for soil management and corrective measures implementation.

• Evaluating, designing, and installing vapor intrusion mitigation systems.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams at the same time.

• Familiarity with best practices in horizontal development on contaminated sites.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Understanding of current state and federal environmental regulatory frameworks.
