This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• This position reports directly to the Art Lead and Producer, collaborating closely with the Project Lead and other Environment Artists.
• The role entails coordinating with asset artists of various levels, concept artists, and level designers to achieve the shared vision of the project.

• Skilled in creating hard surface environment art and props in Blender, guided by concept art.
• Capable of implementing and showcasing completed art assets within the Unreal 5 Editor.
• Collaborates closely with the project lead, environment artists, and concept artists to refine the overall vision and aesthetic of the project.
• Engages with team members, exchanging unfinished work for feedback and improvement.
• Open to learning and adapting to unconventional art workflows and processes, showcasing a willingness to acquire new skills. We seek that “Indie dev” mindset.
• Responds positively to feedback and constructive criticism regarding submissions and workflows, demonstrating a readiness to iterate on assets.
• Possesses 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience using Unreal Engine or similar platforms.
• Previous experience with Blender is preferred, or a willingness to learn it is acceptable.
• Familiarity with creating procedural tileable textures in Substance Designer or equivalent is required.
• Has experience in developing First-Person game art.
• Enjoys Sci-Fi and Horror media.
• Holds an appreciation for retro video games.
• We are in the process of assembling our development team with exceptional talent to embark on a brand new sci-fi remake project utilizing Unreal Engine 5.
• This is a contract role, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment depending on project requirements and individual performance.
• This opportunity is ideal for someone who prefers not to be just a cog in a larger machine, but rather to work closely with a small team where they can make a significant impact on the final game.
