
Entry Level Technical Field Advisor, Steam Turbine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, execute, coordinate, and/or monitor activities at the Steam Power site.
• Install systems and equipment at the designated location.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations post-installation.
• Address emergency repair and service requests promptly.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customer representatives at their sites.
• Draft technical reports and prepare updates on job status and customer interactions.
• Procure materials and obtain quotations.
• Accurately and promptly complete time and expense sheets.
• Approve implemented changes.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance checks for various equipment vintages.
• Generate technical reports for customer documentation and future outages.
• Ensure that all necessary parts are dispatched to the site.
• Conduct aftermarket upgrades at the site level.
• Oversee critical tasks performed by third parties, including measurements and dimensional verifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or above, or a High School Diploma/GED with over 4 years of experience in a Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance position.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Experience working on customer sites is preferred.
• Technically inclined, quick learner, and self-motivated.
• Familiarity with Steam Turbine Operation and Control Parameters or Steam Boiler Operational Principles is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Knowledge of dial and laser alignment as well as thermal growth equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
