This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Transform scanned PDFs into editable Microsoft Word files that replicate the original layout, tables, spacing, headings, line breaks, and overall structure.
β’ Reproduce typed notes, tables, bilingual content, intricate layouts, and occasional handwriting.
β’ Utilize OCR outputs or request OCR assistance, then refine, format, and validate documents in Word.
β’ Adhere to written style and formatting standards to ensure consistency.
β’ Manage medical documents with confidentiality and responsibility.
β’ Identify and flag unclear or illegible content while documenting any uncertainties.
β’ Conduct thorough line-by-line quality checks prior to submitting work.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Word, particularly in areas such as tables, tabs, spacing, page layout, headers/footers, and styles.
β’ Strong attention to detail and comfort with meticulous, repetitive tasks.
β’ Intermediate English language skills for reading, writing, following guidelines, interpreting labels, and effective communication.
β’ Prior experience with medical, legal, or technical documents featuring complex formatting is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with OCR software like ABBYY FineReader or Adobe Acrobat Pro is advantageous.
β’ Basic image editing skills are beneficial for enhancing readability in challenging scans.
