Entry Level Background Investigator – Top Secret Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other informed individuals utilizing technology, electronic tools, and various systems simultaneously.

• Examine relevant records to gather factual information.

• Address all significant issues in cases to ascertain the subject’s background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications.

• Perform interviews via VTC, phone, and face-to-face meetings, with VTC being the primary method.

• Participate in rigorous virtual online training sessions.

• Engage in additional shadowing and mentorship opportunities with a seasoned Investigator.

• Potentially travel throughout the U.S. for temporary duty assignments, typically lasting two weeks.

• Ensure workflow efficiency and productivity across various technology systems.

• Effectively communicate complex or sensitive information.

• Listen attentively, respond to nonverbal cues, and deliver clear oral presentations.

• Build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals while professionally managing challenging situations.

• Create concise, organized written content suitable for the intended audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience showcasing progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning, organizing work, and effective oral and written communication.

• Strong commitment to supporting national security initiatives.

• Exemplary work ethic, integrity, and a positive, proactive attitude.

• Capability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems concurrently.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Dependable personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel locally based on assignment location.

• Home office situated within a reasonable distance to workload areas.

• Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended periods.

• Outstanding time management and prioritization skills.
