This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more state.
• Ensure that Entity Management adheres to all relevant regulatory and legal requirements, as well as applicable policies and procedures.
• Proactively identify risks, address issues, and formulate effective solutions.
• Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of entities.
• Keep accurate entity information, documentation, and validation to serve as a reliable source of truth.
• Maintain metrics and reporting for project performance, including the establishment of new entities.
• Assist business leadership in executing growth strategies.
• Provide project management support to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
• Coordinate with local legal service providers on matters such as entity incorporation, registered addresses and offices, and mandatory licensing and registrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Payroll, Finance, Product, and Marketing.
• Review legal advice pertaining to new countries.
• Assess and update processes to encourage best practices and positive outcomes.
• Support internal teams with inquiries related to business models.
• Monitor legal, regulatory, and tax developments that impact entity compliance in the area.
• Ensure Safeguard Global adheres to local laws and regulations.
• Manage expenditures on external counsel while staying within budget.
• Evaluate, adapt, and implement industry best practices for entity management methodologies and processes.
• Promptly report any identified issues to management for consideration and resolution.
• 2–4 years of experience in entity management, corporate governance, and company entity matters, including setup, restructuring, and dissolution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, statutory filings, entity lifecycle management, and governance best practices across various jurisdictions.
• Experience working in a global business environment and collaborating with Legal, HR, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and external service providers.
• Proven track record in managing third-party service providers within established timelines and budgets.
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, support global expansion initiatives, and drive process enhancements.
• Ability to identify governance and compliance risks, resolve escalations, and independently devise and implement practical solutions.
• Experience in maintaining accurate entity records, governance documentation, and management reporting.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and influence.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accountability and integrity.
