This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Implement and enhance Stord's HSS program throughout designated fulfillment and warehouse facilities.
• Convert enterprise standards into uniform site-level execution across regional locations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise site-level safety and loss prevention professionals.
• Manage regional safety, compliance, and loss prevention performance metrics and drive improvement trends.
• Lead loss prevention strategies and shrink reduction efforts, including oversight of investigations, security measures, and accountability for carriers/vendors.
• Maintain the regional compliance posture concerning OSHA, state regulations, and internal Stord standards.
• Act as the regional decision-maker for incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that may result in financial losses, operational disruptions, or harm to individuals and assets.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop regional safety and loss prevention professionals.
• Implement enterprise safety standards and conduct or oversee safety audits, gap assessments, tracking of corrective actions, and incident investigations.
• Organize peak readiness reviews and represent the region in enterprise safety discussions.
• Supervise investigations related to theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancies; manage CCTV, access control, and physical security standards.
• Analyze loss trends and collaborate with operations, finance, facilities, carriers, vendors, and law enforcement agencies.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, state, and local regulations; supervise Hazmat compliance and any customer-required certifications as necessary.
• Manage regional safety and loss prevention KPIs, reporting, trend analysis, corrective action pipelines, and near-miss/hazard reporting.
• Lead HSS preparedness for new site launches, automation, equipment commissioning, staffing, and scaling of program coverage.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in health and safety, loss prevention, or operations compliance.
• At least 3 years of direct people management experience.
• Multi-site experience in 3PL, eCommerce fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing settings.
• Background in loss prevention investigations, shrink management, or asset protection within a high-volume logistics or retail context.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, state-specific safety regulations, and compliance program management.
• Practical experience in managing CCTV, access control, and inventory protection protocols.
• Familiarity with incident investigation methodologies and corrective action systems.
• Comfort with Hazmat regulations and controlled substance handling requirements in a warehouse or fulfillment environment.
• Experience using safety and loss prevention data to inform operational decisions.
• Must reside in Las Vegas and be willing to travel 40-50% of the time.
• ASP, CSP, or an equivalent safety certification is preferred or actively pursued.
• Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid Technique, or equivalent interviewing certification is preferred.
• A background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Familiarity with CTPAT, TAPA, or SOC-related security requirements is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze metrics and convert them into actionable plans.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
