This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement and enhance Stord's HSS program throughout a designated region of fulfillment and warehouse facilities.
• Convert enterprise standards into uniform regional execution across various facilities.
• Take ownership of regional safety, compliance, and loss prevention performance metrics, driving improvement trends.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and oversee site-level safety and loss prevention professionals.
• Manage the regional loss prevention strategy, including shrink reduction, investigations, security controls, and accountability of carriers/vendors.
• Oversee compliance with regional OSHA, state, local, Hazmat, and internal requirements.
• Act as the regional decision-maker and primary contact for incidents, investigations, regulatory inquiries, and inspections.
• Conduct or supervise facility safety audits, gap assessments, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective measures.
• Implement enterprise safety standards and integrate safety into daily operational practices.
• Examine loss trends and facilitate root-cause resolution through operational and procedural enhancements.
• Oversee CCTV, access control, and physical security standards across regional locations.
• Manage regional safety and loss prevention KPIs and provide performance reports to the Head of HSS and regional operations leadership.
• Lead HSS preparedness for new site launches, automation and equipment commissioning, peak readiness, and network expansion.
• Over 7 years of experience in health and safety, loss prevention, or operations compliance.
• More than 3 years of direct experience in people management.
• Experience managing multiple sites in 3PL, eCommerce fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing settings.
• Proven background in loss prevention investigation, shrink management, or asset protection within high-volume logistics or retail sectors.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, state-specific safety regulations, and compliance program management.
• Practical experience in managing CCTV, access control, and inventory protection protocols.
• Understanding of incident investigation techniques and corrective action systems.
• Comfort with Hazmat regulations and handling requirements for controlled substances in warehouse or fulfillment environments.
• Experience utilizing safety and loss prevention data to inform operational decisions.
• Willingness to be based in Dallas, TX, and travel 40–50% of the time.
• ASP, CSP, or equivalent safety certification preferred or actively pursued.
• Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid Technique, or equivalent interviewing certification preferred.
• Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Knowledge of CTPAT, TAPA, or SOC-related security requirements is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to analyze metrics and convert them into actionable strategies.
• Skill in managing competing priorities and escalating issues appropriately.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
