This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Support the development and execution of the global Compliance Risk Management Program.
• Aid in the annual Anti-Financial Crime EWRA, utilizing AI/GenAI tools where suitable, while ensuring methodological rigor, defensibility, and audit trails.
• Oversee risk assessments for various Financial Crime segments, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, and Market Abuse.
• Engage in Product Risk Assessments for new, evolving, or existing products.
• Record and manage control inventories, regulatory compliance, and alignment with policy frameworks.
• Collaborate on a global scale to guarantee that risk assessment methodologies and implementations meet established expectations.
• Assist in the creation and oversight of compliance policies, procedures, processes, and the Compliance Risk control environment.
• Support the pillars of the Compliance Risk Management framework, including AML/CFT horizon scanning, regulatory perimeter assessments, and the impact of regulatory changes.
• Integrate AI-enabled methodologies into EWRA workstreams under human oversight, ensuring validated, source-traceable, and defensible results.
• Generate management information concerning Compliance Risk insights and performance.
• Create MI/metrics for senior management regarding heightened risks and AFC EWRA recommendations.
• Track and report RAS KRIs, offering suggestions when risk levels surpass appetite.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or economics.
• Advanced professional risk certification is preferred (e.g., CAMS-RM).
• Over 5 years of experience as a compliance professional in a regulated financial services setting; experience in the Crypto industry is a plus.
• More than 2 years of direct experience in Compliance Risk and EWRA implementation.
• Proficient in AI and GenAI concepts, including prompt engineering, tool selection, output validation, and awareness of model limitations and hallucination risks in a compliance context.
• Understanding of AI governance and Responsible AI principles, including bias, explainability, auditability, and model risk, and their applicability to compliance and risk assessment processes.
• Data literacy adequate to interrogate, stress-test, and substantiate AI-generated outputs before relying on them for risk assessments.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, global organization while maintaining close communication with relevant teams across multiple locations.
