Enterprise Strategic Account Executive – West Coast Hyperscalers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Customer Relationship from the C-suite downwards, promoting and supporting both GEV and the customer while ensuring that executive sponsorship is prioritized and respected by both entities.

• The majority of the time (both virtually and while traveling) will be dedicated to coordinating with sales, technical, project management, quality, and senior management teams at GEV on matters such as customer communications, quality feedback, problem resolution, customer account strategies, and executive meetings to guarantee the highest level of quality at every interaction with the customer.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s business, market dynamics, competition, and GEV business unit priorities along with growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with the customer and business unit account teams to create a strategic account plan that outlines proactive growth objectives, an internal/external relationship heatmap, and key issues crucial to customer satisfaction.

• Represent the full GEV portfolio and facilitate collaboration across business units for opportunities requiring complex or multi-P&L solutions.

• Organize and conduct annual strategic business reviews with senior GEV leaders and the Customer’s C-Suite; work together with GEV’s Customer Experience Leader to facilitate the annual NPS survey and manage feedback/action plans.

• Establish Operational KPIs (including quality and commercial Key Performance Indicators/Targets to Improve (KPIs/TTIs)) in collaboration with the key account and GEV.

• Partner with GEV’s Customer Quality Leader and BU quality teams to identify key areas of concern regarding GEV product/services quality and promote clear communication and resolution.

• Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction in all processes and engagements.

• Collaborate with GEV’s Enterprise Sales Operations Leader to utilize standard practices, operational data, and metrics to assess the health of the customer relationship, alignment with GEV priorities, and overall growth and profitability of account KPIs/TTIs, including Orders & Backlog Profitability, 3-year pipeline, Customer experience via NPS and other satisfaction metrics, Customer Safety, Quality health scorecard (major incidents, reputational events, NPS/CX feedback action to resolution), and Delivery Service/availability of GEV equipment Share of wallet.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 10 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management, or other EPC/end-user customer or supplier-facing roles.

• At least 10 years of experience in the energy, power generation, and/or renewables sector.

• Strong financial management capabilities combined with an understanding of market economics and competitive landscape, particularly with deep knowledge of the energy market, including production (renewables, natural gas, etc.), transmission, storage, and consumption.

• Proven track record of establishing and nurturing GEV cross-business relationships at various levels.

• Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders effectively.

• Successful history of developing and maintaining robust customer relationships at the C-suite level.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and communication skills suitable for all business levels, including senior leadership.

• Experience in team leadership.

• Proven capability in creating and executing a business strategy or blueprint.

• Proficiency in speaking and interacting in the local language of the customer.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%-75% of the time, as necessary.
