Enterprise Solutions Specialist I, SAP QM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop, support, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and install business application programs.

• Gather business requirements and conduct gap analysis through workshops and assessments of operational processes.

• Analyze and implement business processes utilizing SAP.

• Produce functional design documentation and test plans; oversee user acceptance testing in collaboration with subject matter experts.

• Present proposed solutions to the design committee for approval.

• Configure SAP modules and deliver advanced customized configurations in at least one application module.

• Design and implement interfaces to external systems.

• Collaborate with SAP developers on custom coding solutions.

• Provide support for SAP and non-SAP system integration through SAP functional expertise and business analysis.

• Work alongside cross-functional and cross-application teams.

• Maintain system availability, assist with installations at plant sites, support users, monitor systems, and troubleshoot issues.

• Train and support plant personnel while coordinating with installation teams.

• Participate in the development and rollout of new functionalities.

• Create guidelines, checklists, procedures, and training documentation.

• Plan projects while balancing the strategic roadmap with ongoing enhancements.

• Ensure effective communication regarding projects.

• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

• Share knowledge and best practices across Jabil facilities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards.

• Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues as per the service level agreement (SLA).

• Provide functional guidance and assistance to other IT teams.

• Support the strategic direction of the business and IT.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.

• Functional knowledge in Material Management in SAP or another ERP system is preferred.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.

• A combination of education, training, or experience may be accepted as equivalent qualifications.

• Proficiency and ability to work independently within overall business processes and system functionalities for a primary application module or functional area.

• Capability to propose designs and implement interfaces to external systems.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.

• Skill in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.

• Capacity to maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding data and proprietary information.
