Enterprise Solutions Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and expand a high-performing Solutions Engineering team focused on enterprise solutions.

• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and cultivate Solutions Engineers to become trusted technical advisors.

• Provide coaching on enterprise skills, including complex discovery, POC design and execution, security and compliance, API-level technical understanding, and executive storytelling.

• Collaborate with Enterprise sales leadership to align on pipeline and strategic priorities.

• Oversee demonstrations, POCs, trials, security assessments, and RFPs across multiple stakeholder buying groups.

• Review and enhance team performance while offering technical expertise on challenging deals.

• Improve enterprise SE processes, such as demo workflows, POC frameworks, trial structures, RFP procedures, and knowledge bases.

• Develop enablement materials including competitive positioning, security questionnaire libraries, integration playbooks, and value frameworks.

• Translate field observations into product feedback, roadmap insights, and process enhancements in collaboration with Product and Engineering.

• Work with CS, Product, Marketing, and Implementation teams on handoffs and enterprise messaging.

• Identify high-impact issues, formulate recommendations, validate hypotheses, and secure executive support.

• Manage the entire implementation process, ensuring change management, stakeholder alignment, and adoption.

• Act as a strategic partner in shaping the growth of Ashby’s enterprise SE organization.

• Proven experience in managing or mentoring Solutions Engineers within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise SaaS sales processes.

• Demonstrated ability in hiring, developing, and promoting talent.

• A strategic mindset towards processes, enablement, and operational excellence.

• Capability to collaborate with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams including CS, Product, and Implementation.

• Strong business acumen combined with technical expertise.

• Ability to link Ashby’s offerings to measurable outcomes for enterprises.

• Excellent communication skills for simplifying intricate concepts and coaching others effectively.

• Experience or proficiency in building POC frameworks, RFP repositories, competitive playbooks, and demo environments.

• Understanding and empathy towards the challenges faced by enterprise Talent teams.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems or enterprise talent acquisition workflows.

• Bonus: Experience in constructing POC frameworks, value engineering models, or technical trial structures for enterprise agreements.

• Bonus: Background in leading cross-functional initiatives within rapidly growing organizations.

• Bonus: Technical individual contributor experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
