Enterprise Solutions Engineer – Retail Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with retail clients to gain insights into their store operations, backend systems, and data needs.

• Establish comprehensive integration strategies, which encompass data ingestion, pre and post-processing, and publishing to pertinent retail systems.

• Act as the subject matter expert on Simbe’s products and services, including APIs, mobile applications, and business intelligence tools.

• Create pilot use cases and demonstrations that highlight Tally’s data capturing, analytics capabilities, and integration with client systems.

• Support the implementation process by working alongside internal Simbe deployment teams and client technical teams to set up integrations.

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to develop effective adoption strategies, including user training, documentation, and onboarding procedures.

• Serve as the technical liaison for key stakeholders, ensuring a proactive communication channel for support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in solutions engineering, system integration, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally at a SaaS company servicing the retail industry.

• Demonstrated experience working with or integrating systems such as POS, ERP, WMS, workforce management, inventory management, planograms, etc.

• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, Python, SQL regex, data modeling, and system integration design patterns.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and contemporary data pipelines (ETL, streaming, etc.).

• Proven success in designing and delivering integrated solutions within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

• Excellent customer-facing abilities, with the skill to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at influencing and guiding decision-making among both executives and technical teams.
