Enterprise Solutions Architect, Hardware

📋 Description

• Position Molex as a preferred design partner in high-speed backplane and near-package solutions by providing consultative design services and showcasing the value of Molex’s offerings tailored to the needs of our hyperscale customers.

• Collaborate with global sales teams to advocate for Molex’s backplane solutions across various market segments, including enterprise switching, datacenter, and emerging technology sectors such as accelerated computing (AI/ML).

• Identify and cultivate new product development opportunities through direct customer interactions, channel partners, and targeted marketing initiatives.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the broader market ecosystem, focusing on customer portfolios, applications, and challenges to deliver customized solutions and foster long-term relationships.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure alignment between customer needs and Molex’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy and uncover growth opportunities.

• Represent Molex at trade shows, conferences, and technical events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, specifically in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in hardware or systems engineering, FAE, or account management.

• Experience in a global, cross-functional working environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, with a focus on customer sites in Silicon Valley, Seattle, and other global locations as necessary.
