This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage all engineering operations for large-scale, multi-technology projects, ensuring that the technical scope meets specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
• Guarantee the on-time delivery of all engineering outputs, including system studies, PFDs, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, control system architecture, datasheets, and interface control documentation for clients.
• Facilitate collaboration among project engineering teams across different business units through designated discipline engineers, business unit project engineers, and consulting leads.
• Coordinate the swift resolution of cross-business interface challenges encountered during installation and commissioning, involving global engineering teams as necessary.
• Manage technical interfaces among business units, product lines, and EPC partners to ensure system compatibility and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Create and uphold the comprehensive engineering execution plan across Business Units and Consulting Services, along with resource allocation and schedule management across various disciplines and regions.
• Formulate and sustain Level 1 and Level 2 commissioning execution strategies, schedules, resource allocations, and readiness checklists in collaboration with the Planning Manager for Integrated Projects.
• Identify and mitigate technical interface risks while ensuring compliance with codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and grid interconnection guidelines.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for PCO on cross-business interface matters involving customers, EPCs, and internal leadership.
• Promote the standardization of cross-business engineering processes, tools, and templates throughout the enterprise to enhance efficiency, quality, and information sharing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in the power generation or energy sector, particularly in enterprise-level or multi-business initiatives.
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and integrated system design.
• Strong grasp of power generation technologies, energy storage systems, and grid interconnection prerequisites.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams within global, matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated expertise with power transformers, including their specification, application, testing, and failure modes.
• Robust knowledge of medium- and high-voltage switchgear design, protection, and operation.
• Familiarity with grid codes, utility interconnection requirements, and relevant standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NERC, NEC).
• Practical experience in conducting electrical studies (short circuit, arc flash, coordination, load flow).
• Capability to translate system-level protection requirements into feasible, buildable designs.
