This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the Marketplace product strategy, including benefit design and value proposition.
• Create both short-term and long-term product roadmaps that align with growth, profitability, and market goals.
• Take ownership of product design choices, encompassing plan structure, benefits, and strategies for differentiation.
• Analyze competitors and integrate competitive insights into the product strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage the Marketplace product source of truth, including benefit interpretation and relevant supporting tools.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Product, Actuarial, Clinical, and Network teams.
• Guide the product lifecycle management process from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.
• Monitor product performance across segments, geography, and benefit design, making recommendations for enhancements.
• Identify and manage regulatory and operational risks associated with the product.
• Create product documentation, policies, and decision frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption.
• Offer expertise in Marketplace product strategy to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance, Business, healthcare, or a related field is required.
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the required education.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, product development, market strategy, or market research within the insurance industry is required.
• Knowledge of the healthcare/managed care sector and familiarity with government program products is necessary.
• Experience in the healthcare insurance industry is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience collaborating with state and Federal regulators/government in a managed care environment is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed organization.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Skill in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in critical listening, critical thinking, time management, decision-making, problem-solving, planning, negotiating, and influencing.
