This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Establish and champion the vision for the portfolio of insurance systems.
• Create and uphold a 6–12 month roadmap aligned with company priorities.
• Conduct structured feedback loops involving leaders from sales, service, operations, and marketing.
• Oversee daily administration, configuration, and decision-making related to changes within the portfolio.
• Provide recommendations on lifecycle management, vendor selection, and spending decisions with transparent options, costs, and implications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team of administrators.
• Set objectives, conduct one-on-one meetings, and facilitate cross-training.
• Manage the systems register and drive recommendations for adoption, expansion, replacement, and retirement.
• Implement a unified intake process for system requests across three companies.
• Oversee uptime, access controls, configuration standards, change calendars, and audit preparedness.
• Manage renewals, optimize licenses, oversee SLAs, and conduct vendor performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with InfoSec/GRC and the Risk Manager on least-privilege access, data management, regulatory compliance, and SOC 2 documentation.
• Work with Delivery & Automation teams on integrations and automation initiatives.
• Ensure data quality and maintain documentation for configurations and runbooks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.
• 5+ years of experience managing or administering enterprise SaaS platforms—such as CRM, agency/policy management, or ERP—with a proven record of accountability for business results beyond mere administration.
• 2+ years of direct experience in managing personnel: hiring, coaching, and developing platform administrators or analysts.
• Proven ability to translate competing stakeholder demands into a prioritized roadmap and deliver measurable improvements.
• Experience in managing vendors, licenses, and budgets.
• Technical proficiency—comfortable with integrations, APIs, reporting and data tools, and automation concepts.
• Strong written communication skills and documentation practices.
• Knowledge of the complete insurance policy lifecycle: quoting, binding, endorsing, renewing, canceling, and claims processing.
• Familiarity with agency operations across MGA, wholesale brokerage, retail agency, and InsurTech distribution models.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience in the insurance industry.
• Hands-on experience with AMS360 or a similar agency management system is preferred.
• Preference for certification in HubSpot or Salesforce-class CRM.
• Exposure to formal change management practices such as ITIL or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience across various distribution models is preferred.
• Familiarity with surplus lines filing or insurance licensing workflows, or a willingness to collaborate closely with Compliance and Licensing functions.
