This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Acquire new business and expand customer sales opportunities from executive-level decision-makers and influencers.
• Promote Workiva’s core platform and partner with Solution Sales teams on multi-solution sales initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships and identify Workiva products and solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Enhance customer acquisition through new subscriptions, professional services, delivery, and training offerings.
• Drive sales and foster relationships with key customer accounts.
• Engage with both existing and prospective clients to address intricate business needs utilizing Workiva’s platform.
• Pursue sales opportunities alongside peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships to create a qualified pipeline.
• Conduct needs assessments and deliver persuasive demonstrations of the Workiva platform.
• Tackle customer objections and resolve client challenges effectively.
• Lead the sales process through to closure by showcasing Workiva’s value proposition.
• Update CRM tools with customer contact information.
• Analyze sales pipelines and provide accurate forecasting.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans.
• Mobilize internal support and optimize resources for account pursuits.
• Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-through.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through continuous training.
• Share insights, successes, lessons learned, and best practices; mentor colleagues.
• Over 10 years of experience in a related position involving enterprise technology or complex solution sales across major customer accounts.
• An undergraduate degree or a comparable combination of knowledge and relevant career experience.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English.
• Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Ability to demonstrate complex software applications effectively.
• Experience in navigating and achieving sales success within large enterprise organizations.
• Strong business acumen and capacity to comprehend complex business challenges.
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively at the senior leadership level.
• Capability to identify and understand the distinction between influencers and buyers, navigating sales-cycle complexities.
• Proficient in managing multiple complex sales cycles concurrently.
• Excellent skills in account planning.
• Ability to negotiate pricing while maintaining value.
• Consistently meets and exceeds sales quota targets.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for regular customer meetings and events.
• Reliable internet access is required for remote work, outside of a Workiva office setting.
