Enterprise Architect – Data Governance Head

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic designer and technical foundation for Masdar’s global digital ecosystem.

• Lead the Enterprise Digital initiative, creating a flexible and top-tier composable architecture that effectively connects modern corporate systems with agile, field-level renewable asset operations.

• Take ownership of and guide the global Data Management & Data Governance strategy, establishing universal data taxonomies that convert cross-border operational insights into a competitive edge.

• Develop high-performing domain architects to protect and enhance our Digital Architecture and infrastructure, along with a strong team of skilled data management specialists.

• Enable Masdar to continue its secure, rapid, and intelligent scaling and expansion, while fueling the world’s clean energy future.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in a global, enterprise-level architecture role, ideally in asset-intensive or energy sectors.

• More than 10 years of direct experience in leading, managing, and nurturing a team of specialized domain architects.

• At least 10 years of practical experience in ERP and Data architecture design, with a solid record of transitioning legacy systems into modern, composable architectures.

• Over 8 years of experience in architecting and managing global data management platforms.

• A minimum of 5 years of focused experience in driving Data Governance initiatives (including the establishment of policies, frameworks, and master data hierarchies) and overseeing governing bodies.

• Strong and effective communicator capable of translating complex technical designs into business language/value, while persuading peers and stakeholders to reach consensus.

• Proficient in resolving design discrepancies, prioritizing enterprise architecture design phases that are crucial to Masdar's operations and efficiency.

• A collaborator and team player who can mentor and coach members throughout the CDO team.
