This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Define and enhance the enterprise AI architecture, standards, reference models, and implementation guidelines to ensure consistent solution delivery across various business functions.
• Align AI projects with enterprise strategies, roadmaps, and business priorities.
• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities that enhance student success and improve operational efficiency.
• Design scalable AI platforms and solutions across data, application, and technology domains.
• Provide insights on how AI, ML, and automation can enhance current and future-state architectures.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions such as LLMs, agents, automation, and analytics.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Guide the evaluation and selection of AI/ML models, frameworks, and vendors.
• Establish reusable patterns, APIs, and integration strategies.
• Develop governance practices that cover model oversight, responsible AI usage, security controls, compliance expectations, and lifecycle management.
• Implement AI governance, including responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance with standards such as FERPA, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Establish lifecycle management practices including MLOps/LLMOps, model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining.
• Implement frameworks for performance, bias, and risk monitoring.
• Ensure a secure AI architecture that includes data protection, isolation, and adversarial defense.
• Collaborate with business, product, data, and engineering teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance to architects and delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops, POCs, demos, and AI adoption projects to identify viable opportunities where AI can serve as a positive differentiator.
• Mentor teams on AI best practices, patterns, and frameworks.
• Over 15 years of experience in Information Technology.
• More than 8 years in enterprise or solution architecture.
• At least 3 years in AI/ML solution design and delivery.
• Experience in integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, D2L, and Banner.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman, as well as Agile delivery methods.
• Proficient in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), LLMs, and agent-based architectures such as RAG, AutoGPT, and LangChain.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP, as well as data/AI pipeline design.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, system integration, and enterprise data management.
• Experience with ML Ops/LLM Ops practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment patterns across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Familiarity with enterprise standards for principles, patterns, and guidelines regarding the use of AI within the SNHU environment.
