This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive effective customer solutions.
• Close deals with both existing and new clients.
• Collaborate efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a precise and comprehensive pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
• Grasp the technical requirements and certifications relevant to the prospect or customer.
• Manage and expedite the sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key clients.
• Establish a strategic sales plan for your territories that aligns with the MariaDB strategic vision.
• Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding quarterly strategies.
• Follow up on leads in your territory within company SLAs, utilizing appropriate messaging through phone, email, and social media.
• Must be open to travel up to 20% to various company and client locations.
• Sales hunter focused on new business and expansion opportunities.
• Over 7 years of experience in database/data management, DBaaS, or cloud sales.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large enterprise opportunities.
• Capability to advocate within key accounts.
• Strong sales acumen to navigate complex sales cycles.
• Background in selling enterprise cloud database solutions is preferred.
• Experience with open source software solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with prospecting and opportunity development utilizing tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce.com, Zoom, Marketo, and Zoominfo.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
