This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at enterprise clients.
β’ Manage the complete sales process, from initial prospecting to finalizing deals.
β’ Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales experience.
β’ Recognize customer challenges and provide tailored product demonstrations.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives.
β’ Track and oversee sales activities and performance outcomes.
β’ Keep abreast of industry developments and trends.
β’ Participate in initiatives aimed at driving business growth.
β’ Represent Kong with professionalism at industry-related events.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales (companies with >1k employees).
β’ A demonstrated history of successfully closing complex deals within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software setting.
β’ Proven success in selling to large enterprises, especially to senior-level executives.
β’ Strong skills in consultative selling.
β’ Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
β’ Knowledge of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is a significant advantage.
β’ Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
