This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at enterprise clients.
β’ Manage the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to deal closure.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales experience.
β’ Identify customer challenges and provide tailored product demonstrations.
β’ Establish relationships with C-level executives.
β’ Oversee and track sales activities and outcomes.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends.
β’ Contribute to initiatives that drive business growth.
β’ Represent Kong professionally at industry events.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in enterprise sales (companies with >1k employees).
β’ A proven history of closing complex deals within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software setting.
β’ Successful track record of selling to large enterprises, especially to senior-level executives.
β’ Strong skills in consultative selling.
β’ Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
β’ Knowledge of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is a significant advantage.
β’ Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
