This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Accountable for developing and overseeing the sales pipeline while successfully closing sales to meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual ARR sales targets.
• Conduct outbound prospecting aimed at target accounts to expand the pipeline and secure new logo sales.
• Follow up on and advance Sales Development Marketing Qualified Leads to convert them into pipeline opportunities.
• Deliver Sales Demonstrations to effectively communicate the value of Veracross to various school departments, focusing on specific buyer personas. Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers to present product demonstrations to schools.
• Establish a trusted relationship with prospects by assisting them in identifying their challenges and showcasing how Veracross serves as a strategic solution for their needs.
• Manage contacts, leads, and opportunities through a structured sales process in Salesforce.com.
• Responsible for documenting all sales-related interactions and activities with thorough notes on client communications in Salesforce.com, ensuring accuracy in pipeline and forecasting opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with members of the North America sales team, Marketing, Client Experience, and Product Management.
• Act as a proactive team player, contributing clear insights, strategies, and ideas that resonate with our values and culture.
• Acquire and maintain relevant domain knowledge to engage in meaningful discussions with partners and schools.
• Work with sales, marketing, sales operations, and finance to discover methods for reducing the sales cycle, enhancing sales velocity, and maximizing bookings throughout the Western United States.
• Provide management with feedback regarding market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to enhance client value by expanding company offerings.
• Over 5 years of experience in an Account Executive position selling solutions to multiple buyers.
• Demonstrated sales experience within a SaaS sales model.
• A proven history of exceeding ARR target objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in sales presentations.
• Ability to simplify complex technical information for easy understanding.
• Capability to flourish in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
• A record of outstanding quota achievement is required.
• Previous experience in a SaaS EdTech company is preferred.
• Salesforce experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Strong preference for candidates to be located within the territory (CA, WA).
• Three weeks of vacation annually.
