• Play a vital role in driving revenue growth and achieving quarterly booking targets by securing new client accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with VP & C-Suite prospects to systematically qualify, develop, and oversee a precise sales funnel and pipeline.
• Manage existing customer expectations while broadening engagement and influence within the designated territory.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business operations.
• Negotiate advantageous pricing and business conditions with large enterprises by effectively communicating value and return on investment.
• Possess an intuitive understanding of the necessary steps to finalize business deals and secure customer endorsement.
• Identify a strong set of business drivers that underpin all sales opportunities.
• Employ a solution-oriented approach to selling, creating value for customers.
• Maintain a genuine and authentic grasp of what can often be a complex sales process.
• Previous experience in an early-stage company with a proven track record of successfully achieving or surpassing direct sales targets of over $1M and an annual contract value of $100k+
• A minimum of 5 years of closing experience, including a combination of field sales in mid-market and enterprise sectors, with a focus on developer tools, cloud infrastructure, databases, and/or business intelligence.
• Ability to independently demonstrate a methodology for prospecting and building a sales pipeline.
• Experience working for an innovative technology company, preferably in SaaS or IT infrastructure.
• Proven success in selling to large Fortune 1000 companies, with the capability to secure new logos.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies.
• A proactive mindset, characterized by a focus on taking action rather than allowing circumstances to dictate outcomes.
